Oxygen O2 Shock resistant, leak free design ensures a lifetime of 100% reliability. Available as a single sensor, in combination with a 4-20mA transmitter or as a complete housed solution SL Oxygen sensors from Sixth Sense overcome the problems associated with standard metal can sensors. They are designed to be directly interchangeable with current sensors incorporated into fixed and portable gas detectors. Typical applications include the measurement of Oxygen deficiency in confined spaces such as tunnels, mines or chemical plant or for the analysis of combustion gases in flues and chimney stacks. The SL's shock resistant, leak free design ensures lifetime reliability. High sensor to sensor repeatability and tolerance to temperature and pressure transients also contribute to highly reliable performance. All have lifetimes of 18 months. |

Carbon Dioxide CO2
Our miniature sensors are fast response, ultra low power 3.5mW, solid state, infrared sensors for an extensive range of applications. This exciting technology brings fast response, real time sensing plus high accuracy and long-term stability. Available as a sensor with digital or analogue transmitter and offering a USB cable The sensors are particularly ideal for portable and battery powered instruments. Optional temperature and humidity outputs are also available. Measurement of CO2 is offered in real time or as an averaged/integrated response signal, which can be selected depending upon the application. The ranges for the C1 are 0-2000ppm, 0-1%, 0-2%. The ranges for the C2 are 0-5%, 0-20%, 0-65% and 0-100% volume CO2. Optional ranges are available on request from 200ppm to 100%. High performance LEDs and photodiodes offer low power, fast response, intrinsic safety and sunlight immunity. This sensor technology benefits from being a semiconductor ensuring it is very stable over many years, is resistant to environmental effects, such as humidity and poisoning, and is usable over a wide temperature range, with little environmental impact. Analogue and digital electronic interface options provide a temperature compensated and linearised CO2 measurement that can be customised to suit specific customer requirements. Popular applications for this sensor include HVAC and IAQ, diving, automotive, education, industrial safety and horticulture.
Carbon Dioxide CO2 Standard C3 Range Available for general CO2, indoor air quality or heavy industrial monitoring, infrared sensors offer long term stability in a compact, cost-effective package. Available as sensors with 4-20mA transmitters or as complete housed solutions. These also offer calibration software The innovative material and construction of a double beam infrared measuring system ensures Carbon Dioxide is detected quickly and precisely. A new
digital algorithm evaluates and processes the measured signals, offering
long-term stability in a lightweight, compact and cost-effective package. Infrared dual beam CO2 technology is also utilised in our complete CO2 Gas Warning System, ideal for areas of CO2 gas storage such as beer cellars. |

Flammable Gases The latest catalytic gas sensors from Sixth Sense offer new levels of poison resistance and lifetime for flammable gas detection. These can be purchased as pellistor pairs or as the Zellpell sensor. The Zellpell is available as a single sensor, in combination with a 4-20mA transmitter or as a complete housed solution Sixth Sense pellistors allow you to reduce calibration requirements, increase customer confidence and repeat business. All pellistors are attacked by certain vapours and in particular, by silicone and Hydrogen Sulphide. The CAT16 sensor will survive up to 20 times longer than other 'poison resistant' sensors. Sixth Sense pellistors often exhibit lifetimes in excess of 5 years. CAT16 elements are available for fixed point systems, whilst the CAT25 suits portable devices. The CAT25 sensor is amongst the most power efficient worldwide. If required, this can be supplied in metal housing and fitted with an integral flame arresting sinter, making it ideal for use in certified equipment - please ask about our Zellpell sensor. The Zellpell sensor is available in combination with a 4-20mA transmitter. |

Nitrogen Dioxide NO2 A life time of two years and the option of a 4-20mA transmitter, provides an easy solution for the measurement of Nitrogen Dioxide. This is available as a single sensor, in combination with a 4-20mA transmitter or as a complete housed solution Directives to limit and decrease Nitrogen Dioxide emissions are becoming more commonplace around the world. Power stations and traffic are the main sources. Major road networks and urban areas have the highest levels of Nitrogen Dioxide. However, in homes with gas stoves, kerosene heaters, or unvented gas space heaters, indoor levels often exceed outdoor levels and put at risk people's health. This compact superior electrochemical sensor also comes with a 4-20mA solution, which is pre-calibrated. An installation kit and test gas cap offers easy assembly into wall mounting boxes. This solution is particularly popular for monitoring levels in underground car parks. |
